Tiffany Hourie

My name is Tiffany Hourie. My roots are Anishinabe, but I have planted myself in Maskwacis with Nehiyawak for the past 10 years. My primary teaching experience is in High School Social Studies. I am passionate about Indigenous studies, particularly in the area of history and education. After teaching for approximately eight years (six of which were at Ermineskin Junior Senior High), I decided to pursue studies in the area of curriculum development and school administration. I worked in curriculum development with MESC for two years, then I was Assistant Principal for another two years at Nipisihkopahk Secondary School. I was Assistant Principal at Maskwacis Outreach School for one year before becoming the lead Principal. I anticipate many challenges and opportunities for growth along the way. I am looking forward to continuing the work I do with staff and students.
